Top-tier Value and Affordability Offered by LasikPlus
Since LasikPlus started in 1995, we’ve always aimed to give our patients the best care using advanced technology and skilled LASIK doctors in the United States. We also want our services to be affordable. People often wonder about the cost of LASIK. In this article, we will tell you about the pricing at LasikPlus.
What is the Average Cost of LASIK Eye Surgery at LasikPlus?
The cost of LASIK at LasikPlus varies based on different factors like your prescription, corneal thickness, pupil size, overall eye health, and the type of laser technology needed for your vision correction.
Our aim is to offer the best treatment option tailored to each patient’s needs. We’re proud to provide affordable LASIK surgery for one eye to those who qualify. This pricing is applicable for patients with specific insurance coverage, having LASIK for certain prescriptions and astigmatism levels, and using the traditional excimer laser (please note that the Advantage Plan is not available for this option). For most patients, LASIK at LasikPlus typically ranges from $1,099 to a little over $2,899 per eye. With our LasikPlus Lifetime Advantage Plan, the cost for All-Laser, Custom LASIK is just over $2,599 per eye, regardless of the patient’s prescription.
Is there a discount on the cost of LASIK credit surgery at LasikPlus?
While your LASIK eye surgery cost will depend on several clinical criteria and your individual vision correction needs, you may be eligible for a qualified insurance discount. Apart from this, discounts are also given to military and civilian employees.
What is Included in the Cost of LASIK?
When it comes to our pricing, everything is included. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. Our LASIK doctors are dedicated to creating a personalized plan to help you achieve your best vision. The first LASIK examination, which is usually worth around 0, is free of charge. This applies whether you decide to have LASIK with us or not. During this examination, we get to know you and understand your vision, and your goals for LASIK, and it’s also your chance to learn about us.
Does Insurance Cover LASIK?
Insurance discounts are available through vision plans, but it’s important to note that LASIK is considered elective, not essential, by insurance companies. This means they might not cover the entire cost. However, if your insurance doesn’t cover LASIK, there are financing choices for you. To explore potential discounts and benefits, you can check our list of health insurance providers.
What Are My Payment Options?
If you’re thinking about financing your LASIK procedure, we can assist you in finding a plan that suits your budget. We work with CareCredit, our financing partner (subject to credit approval; ask your provider for details), or you can apply for PremierPay in-house financing.
Applying for financing is simple! You can do it online or at our center. During your LASIK consultation, our LASIK coordinator and financial specialist will guide you through the quick application process and explain the payment options available.
Some patients choose to pay for the procedure using a credit card to earn points, write a check, or use their FSA, HSA, or HRA. LASIK and PRK are considered eligible expenses under FSA, HSA, and HRA. This means you can use your Flexible Spending (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), or Health Reimbursement Account to cover part or all of the cost of your laser vision surgery. You can learn more about using FSA or HSA plans for LASIK here.
How to Use Your FSA or HSA TO Pay for LASIK?
Using funds from your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) is a smart way to pay for LASIK eye surgery because it lets you use pre-tax money, saving you money. Many patients have used their FSA and HSA funds to cover most or all of their procedure costs. Our financial specialists at the center are here to help and make the application process simple.
